Why do IV drips seem so expensive?
IV drips have a higher cost due to the ingredients included in our drips, and the supplies invested in each drip (IV tubing, saline, IV needle, gloves, start kits, etc…). When you compare our prices at RRR IV Therapy to other major IV drip companies in the area, you will actually find we keep our costs lower since we keep our labor costs down. We make our prices as affordable as possible so that this is a luxury that is attainable to almost everyone.
Are IV drips safe?
For most people, IV hydration is safe! However, we still require (as do our regulatory boards) an intake assessment on every patient, which includes an annual Good Faith Examination by our nurse practitioner. Some companies charge for this requirement- we do not. Since it’s mandatory, we don’t think you should have to pay for this service. This is just to ensure that you do not have any conditions which would put you at risk, if you were to receive one of our infusion products. If you have an underlying chronic condition such as heart failure, advanced pulmonary disease/pulmonary hypertension, or kidney disease, we unfortunately cannot provide IV therapy due to the high risks involved for your health. There are other exceptions, but for most people, IV therapy is safe and helpful.
How long does an IV drip take?
Usually it takes about 45 minutes-60 minutes for an infusion to complete. For NAD+, it can take up to 4 hours to be safely completed, depending on the dosage involved. We want to keep you safe, so every individual is different, and we will titrate your drip to your individual response to effect.
